Ali versus the Camel

(Fairytale and moral teachings)

There is this Fairytale about a generous boy and a camel. The boy had a small hut, so small was the hut that it barely accommodated him. One hot Afternoon in Africa a Camel came to him pleading with him to allow him hide only its head inside his hut because the sun was very hot and that when the sun begins to wane, the camel would be on its way.

The generous boy said okay I would let you in but my house is very small so just your head is fine and he allowed the Camel to put it’s head in.

All was fine until minutes later, the Camel said to him “oh generous boy, please allow me to put just my neck in a little bit inside because the sun is hot, I would be on my way in a few minutes”. The boy said okay and shifted, this was how the Camel kept making demands little by little until the Camel was fully inside the house while the boy was outside and because of the Camel’s size took all the space, the boy had no where else to stay.
The Camel was too big for the boy to push away and so the boy ended up helplessly in the sun outside while the Camel stayed in his small hut all by itself.

MORALS OF THE STORY

The Runea family doesn’t hate white people, we are not haters of any race and niether are we a racist organisation. We simply know that as responsible people we must put our peoples interests first as an organisation so as not to end up as the small boy of our story.

We acknowledge the dangers posed by the colonists but we see only policies of exploitation as the enemy and not any human being. Policies that breeds poverty, policies that ensures backwardness and mis-education are the enemies of black people and not people.

We must put our people first or we as a people maybe wiped out by expansionist’s Or worse still we would not be able to provide for our people and we would not be able to provide for ourselves if we do not put our own interests first. Our love for our own comes from our sense of responsibility and not from hate.

We just want to be able to solve black peoples problems using black people and we want to work hard to make it happen and this is called responsibility and not racism.
